Dear Diary (5)

Holiday Day # 5

 Dear Diary:

Some things are exactly the same whether we're at home or on vacation. For example, the toilet phenomenon is something I know every mother understands...

...it's some kind of weird toilet radar that obviously doesn't suffer from jet-lag or an out-of-synch schedule. Enough said.

However, I had a quiet smile today when:

1. My son persuaded my daughters to buy 1/3 each of the boogie-board he wanted (at $14 a pop!) when I knew they wouldn't use it.

 2. One of my daughters broke something she was carrying for her sister.

 3. My son had his phone taken away for 2 days for not following the rules.

 4. The tv went off early because the three children couldn't agree on what to watch.

I can't wait to see what tomorrow may bring.
