Dear Diary (6)

Holiday Day 6

Dear Diary:

The ocean always puts me in an introspective mood. And today was no different. This weekend marks the anniversaries of both my father and mother's birthdays once again; and marks a difficult time of year. So today I'm reminded of a mantra that I try to teach the children:

Another mantra by which I live my life is:

 

 

...but I think I'll wait until the children leave home before teaching them that one!
